Knepfle Family History

  Charles Clarence Knepfle born 10/12/1946 Aunt June, CCK, and Grandma Groth Early years were at 1620 Sutter  in Fairmount (Cincy) [living with my mom's Aunt and Uncle] Played in a small backyard used the shed for pretend school play CCK and cousin Barry Maxwell 1st grade until College 643 Roebling Road Halloween 1950's  my dad made the outfit using two Lamp Shades Vacation in Michigan CCK and Grandma Anna Fehlinger Knepfle Clarence holding baby Chuck  June (Groth) Maxwell and Bill Maxwell (summer of 2004) CCK married Mary Ann Bushman 8/3/1968 5745 Westgrove Dr. Taught at Elder 1969 thru 2009 Gary Herman took us to his office Elder years 5220 Glen Creek Dr. LINK BACK TO HOME PAGE 

  Stained glass window at St. John the Baptist (Harrison, Ohio) This was a close relative of the early Knepfle Family in Harrison, Ohio Lake 's Sporting Goods 124  Harrison  Ave . (513) 367-5936 For the last 25 years  Lake 's Sporting Goods has been providing quality  school jackets & spirit wear for our local schools.  Owned and operated by  Keith   Lake  this sporting goods store was once a Cigar Store owned by John Knepfle.   In 1932 Mr. Knepfle turned the cigar store into  Knep's  Cafe and Bowling Alley.   The original bowling lanes are still intact on the second floor of this building.   The Knepfle boy's continued at their father's retail location expanding into an outdoor " Beer   Garden " during the years the  Harrison  Dog Track was in full swing .
